• A minimum score 20 on the MCC Placement test.
• Must have scored over 22 in Mathematics.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Less than 3 attempts to pass the Non Nursing and Non Clinical Nursing Courses.
• Candidates can take a retest again in sixty days if they fail the first test.

• The exam can be both a Computer-based format (CBE) or pen and pencil at specified exam sites depending on the school at which you are applying.
• The test is held four times per year – January, May, July and August but could vary at different schools.
• The test is multiple choice questions in English, basic mathematics and reading comprehension.
• Passing results will lead to final practical training as a Registered Nurse, Physician or Dentist
• Practice sessions can be done online and are recommended prior to taking the PNEE but you should put emphasis on the mathematics. If that is your weak suit, then concentrate on that area.

• The exam is divided into three categories: English covering punctuation, grammar, spelling and sentence structure; Math covering percentages, ratios, equations, metric conversion, fractions and decimals; Reading covering comprehension, inferences and conclusions;
• You will be scored for each section and then have an overall score
• No calculators are allowed but you can use scratch paper and pencil.
• Test results are available immediately with the computer based format and a copy can be sent directly to the school. The pen and pencil test is scored within 24 hours of receipt by the testing center and can be sent to the school to which you are applying.
