Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Hold a current, full, and unrestricted license as a registered nurse in the United States.
Have a minimum of five years experience practicing as a registered nurse.
Have a minimum of 2000 hours of legal nurse consulting experience within the past three years.

• The exam consists of 200 multiple choice questions
• The exam is for 4 hours.
• The exam details are based on analysis of legal nursing consulting practice.  
• Questions are made in a form of case studies, followed by a reading passage with one or more questions relating to the passage.
