Certified Occupational Health Nurse, Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist COHN-S, (COHN-S) Study Help, Study Guide and Exam Details

• RN licensed is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Must have 3,000 hours in occupational health in the past five years, a completion of a certificate program in occupational health nursing for academic credit, or a completion of a graduate level of education with a concentration in occupational health.
• Registration can be completed online through AMP.

A current schedule of fees can be found on the ABOHN website. Applicants can reschedule one time without incurring additional fees.

• Computer based format

The exam consists of 150 multiple choice questions from the following areas:

• Assessment
• Planning
• Implementation
• Evaluation

• Recertification is required every 5 years.
• $25 fee for declined credit cards or checks returned for insufficient funds.
