Nurse Practitioner Exams/ Family Nurse Practitioner Exam (NP)
The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) manage the Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner certifications. Nurse Practitioners can be trained and certified with in numerous fields and specialties. Family Nurse Practitioners can be trained and certified to offer advanced medical help to people and families of all ages.

Exam Details
This is a computer based exam which is given at participating test centers.
The fees range from $270 for renewal exams to $390 for first time certification and $125 extra fee for international testing.
There is 3 and a half hours allotted for the exam.
The exam consists of 175 multiple choice questions, 25 of which will be pretest questions which are not scored.
