Exam Eligibility
For Candidates must meet the following requirements:
At least 16 years old.
Submit a criminal background check through the Department of Education.
Completed a nurse-aid training program within the last 24 months.
Be a student nurse with an approved application of eligibility from the relevant authorities.

Exam Details
The written portion is made up of 70 multiple choice questions.
The oral exam is intended for those who cannot read English. It is made up of 60 multiple-choice questions and 10 reading questions.
Each applicant must pass all five skills in order to achieve certification.
The exam consists of two components: written or oral portion and a skills-demonstration portion.
The oral portion is in English and Spanish.
