National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) Exam Information and Study Guide

Over a million people have taken the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program, ( NNAAP), making it the leading nurses aide certification in the US.  The program is governed by the American Red Cross.



Exam Eligibility


For Candidates must meet the following requirements:

At least 16 years old. Submit a criminal background check through the Department of Education.
Completed a nurse-aid training program within the last 24 months.
Be a student nurse with an approved application of eligibility from the relevant authorities.

To schedule NNAAP Competency Exam, any candidate may call the American Red Cross at 866-257-5425.  Or
Visit www.promissor.com to download the application.



Exam Details


The written portion is made up of 70 multiple choice questions.
The oral exam is intended for those who cannot read English. It is made up of 60 multiple-choice questions and 10 reading questions.
Each applicant must pass all five skills in order to achieve certification.
